A long tradition

The enterprise UPMANN was founded in 1937 by Arnold Upmann in Gütersloh. After over 60 years the enterprise is led by Matthias Upmann in the third generation.

Today the enterprise is in Rietberg and employs app. 150 staffs. By the development of the enterprise core divisions were formed in the past years. These core divisions are trade, industry and automotives.

Today the trade division supplies the building material trading-companies as well as home depots with an extensive product range for new building and renovation of houses.

The division industry is the oldest division of the enterprise and supplies the chimney industry as well as all other industrial ranges.

The automotives is the newest element. It offers comprehensive services for the subcontractors to the automotive industry.

All together, the customer satisfaction is our highest goal. Therefore, the enterprise UPMANN regards itself today no longer as a classical industrial company, but rather a efficient service provider.
